Carls-Rite Cup
A competition between All-Star teams representing Montreal and Toronto began in 1914 and continued until 1931. It gives us some idea of who the better players were in each city during those years. Unfortunately, it is not always possible to find the first names of the players. The teams the players played for at the time they played in the Carls-Rite Cup, where known, are in brackets. In some years, a game was played in each city; in others, only one game. The Carls-Rite Cup was donated for competition by the Carls-Rite Hotel in Toronto.
